Commanders!
During the celebrations of the German Unity Day, we announced that several more German-themed items are going to be available as a part of future German-themed missions (which will become available in the near future). Now it’s time to take a look at them.

First and foremost, we have the Leopard 2A7V skin for Leopard 2A7DK.

The Leopard 2A7V (V stands for "Improved" in German) is one of the most advanced variants of the German Leopard 2 Main Battle Tank and a major upgrade of the previous Leopard 2A6/2A7 variants. Germany ordered 104 Leopard 2A7V tanks in 2017, created by rebuilding existing Leopard 2A4, 2A6 and 2A7 vehicles. The first tank was handed over in 2019, with the vehicle officially entering service in 2021. The modernization program was completed in 2023. Compared to its predecessors, the Leopard 2A7V features significantly improved protection, upgraded thermal imaging and observation systems, enhanced mine protection, improved electrical and cooling systems, and modifications to the drivetrain to compensate for the vehicle's increased weight.

Composition-wise, the Leopard 2A7V is kind of similar to Leopard 2A7DK. There are some differences, but we decided to introduce it as a skin, which is based on a specific Leopard 2A7V belonging to the 393rd Tank Battalion (Panzerbataillon 393). It features the markings seen during a public display that took place in October 2022.

Next we will have the Condor camouflage. This unusual real-life promotion camouflage was seen on a German Condor anti-aircraft vehicle. The Condor consisted of a heavily modified Leopard 1 hull paired with a Slovakian Turra 30 turret.

A single prototype was built by FFG in Flensburg as a private venture. It was showed to the public in the summer of 2025 but the project never really went anywhere.

And we will also have some real-life decals for you based on German unit emblems.
First is the Leopard Shield. This emblem belongs to the 2nd Company of the 93rd Tank Demonstration Battalion (Panzerlehrbataillion 93), an elite armored unit of the Bundeswehr stationed in Munster, the task of which is, amongst others, to assist the Munster Training School in training future tank crews.

The Hunter Shield emblem belongs to the 91st Light Infantry Battalion (Jägerbataillon 91) of the 21st Armored Brigade (Panzerbrigade 21). This unit is a motorized light infantry unit operating in support of heavier units.

The Lion emblem belongs to the 414st Tank Battalion (Panzerbataillion 414), a joint German-Dutch unit established in 2016. The unit is integrated into both the Bundeswehr and the Royal Netherlands Army and is equipped with modernized Leopard 2A6 Main Battle Tanks.

And that’s it, commanders. We hope that you’ll enjoy these new additions to Armored Warfare and, as always:
See you on the battlefield!
