Q. How long will the Founder’s Packs be on sale?
A. The Founder’s Packs will be on sale until the start of the Armored Warfare Open Beta.
Q. When will I receive the premium account status and other bonuses?
A. Some of the exclusive bonuses in the Founder’s Pack, including the premium account status, will not become active until the beginning of the Open Beta. For more information and details please see the Founder’s Pack page on aw.my.com.
Q. What is the “Open Beta Head Start”?
A. Open Beta Head Start means you will be able to participate in the Open Beta several days before players who have not purchased a Founder’s Pack.
Q. Can I transfer game items to another account?
A. No, you cannot transfer items from one account to another.
Q. Can I get the items included in Founder’s Packs without purchasing a Founder’s Pack?
A. Many of the items in the Founder’s Packs can be acquired by playing the game but the Vanguard title and medal and certain vehicles are exclusive to the Founder’s Packs, meaning they can only be acquired by purchasing a Founder’s Pack. Exclusive vehicles that are included in the “Lord of War” pack have one-year exclusivity: they will not be sold or used as rewards of any kind for one year from the game’s open beta phase.
Q. What do you mean by "Reserved Nickname”?
A. By purchasing a Founder’s Pack you will be able to reserve your nickname for the Open Beta phase of the game and launch. No other player will be able use your name as their nickname. Please note that you can only reserve one name. A registration page will be published on the forum for users with early access to reserve their name.
Q. I already bought an Early Access Founder’s Pack, but now I want to upgrade to a higher-tiered pack. Do I have to pay full price?
A. If you have purchased an Early Access Founder’s Pack but want to upgrade to a higher-tiered pack, you only have to pay the difference in price. Please note, once your account has been upgraded, you will only receive the bonuses from the upgraded pack, upgrading an account from “Mercenary Commander” to “Lord of War” will thus grant you the “Lord of War” bundle content (which already includes the Mercenary Commander content), not a combination of “Lord of War” and “Mercenary Commander” contents.
Q. I purchased a Founder’s Pack – when do I get my Early Access Key?
A. Upon purchasing a Founder’s Pack, you will be given automatic access to the Early Access Tests - therefore there is no need for you to manually enter the key anywhere. You can confirm your early access on your profile page found on the Armored Warfare site. Your Early Access status is displayed to the right of your account avatar. If the profile does not display the key icon after the purchase has been confirmed, refresh the page by pressing F5.
Q. I purchased a Founder’s Pack but I don’t have a special icon in my profile. What do I do to get it to appear?
A. It some time for the badge to appear on your profile page after purchasing a Founder’s Pack. If the badge has not appeared on your profile after 48 hours please contact the My.com Customer Support.
Q. Will anything be wiped? Will I lose the premium account before the game is released?
A. Several wipes will happen during the Early Access phase. Once in "Open Beta", there will be no more progress wipes. The items of the Founder's Pack bundles will not get wiped (such as the premium time, vehicles and the exclusive commander) as they will only be awarded to your account in the "Open Beta" phase.
Q. Will Alpha participants still be in the early access test or do they have to buy a pack?
A. They will still get it. Alpha access is a subgroup of Early Access.
Q. How long will Early Access last?
A. Early Access will last for several months. We will announce various test phases as we progress towards release.
Q. Will the game be available in other languages?
A. The game will be translated in several languages but they may not be available during the Early Access phase of testing.
Q. At which date will the client be available for download and where will you find it
A. The client should be available for download before the 27th of May. Players will be notified by email and on the forums.
Q. Will there be more badges for those who participated in the different stages of the game?
A. The only badge currently issued is the Early Access badge.
Q. What are the Commander stats?
A. All commanders in the game will have various perks, but Maximilian Koenig - the German Commander of the Founder's Pack - will have a unique combination of skills and perks that will not be available to other commanders in the game. Please keep in mind that the skill system is still being optimized and more details will follow.
Q. I found some issues with game balance / some bugs. When can I expect a change?
A. There will be a dedicated section for testers to post feedback and suggestions (and report bugs!) once the test starts. This is where you will best be able to track our progress.
Q: Can you tell me more about how the 1 year exclusive vehicles work?
A: There are two exclusive vehicles contained in the Lord of War pack. These vehicles will be exclusive for 1 year and will not be resold in that timeframe. In addition these vehicles will have exclusive “nameplates” (a designation in game and in the garage) that differ from later versions. They will also be visually different from later vehicles, with a different coloration or camouflage (details to be determined). However, despite any cosmetic changes, the vehicles themselves will be identical from a statistical standpoint.
