Commanders!
Some battles are simply too epic to forget – you kill almost all enemies by yourselves, kill enemies by setting them on fire, or single-handedly turn the tide of battle. That’s where the brand-new Special Medals come in.
In Update 0.23, the following special medals were added to the game:
- Scout's Crest - this medal is awarded to tank operators whose scouting has led to at least 6 damaged vehicles. Targets damaged because of scouting by other fighters do not count
- Steel Eagle - this medal is awarded to tank operators who have helped destroy (dealt damage or damaged modules) the largest amount of enemy vehicles (at least 8)
- Hero's Crest - this medal is awarded to tank operators who have destroyed a vehicle that is of a higher tier or mass by ramming
- Steel Sword - this medal is awarded to tank operators who have destroyed from 5 to 8 enemy vehicles in one match
- Bronze Sword - this medal is awarded to tank operators who have destroyed from 9 to 13 enemy vehicles in one match (rank 2)
- Golden Sword - this medal is awarded to tank operators who have destroyed 14 enemy vehicles in one match (rank 3)
- Iron Dragon - this medal is awarded to tank operators who have dealt the most damage in a match. The damage dealt must be more than half the total hitpoints of all enemies
- Order of Resistance - this medal is awarded to tank operators who have repelled the most damage in a game and survived. Repelled damage should total at least 20% of the team's vehicle hitpoints
- Order of the Captor - this medal is awarded to tank operators who have captured at least 80% capture points. The capture must be victorious
- Order of Valor - this medal is awarded to tank operators who have won in a match after remaining against 5 or more enemy vehicles (rank 2)
- Iron Hawk - this medal is awarded to tank operators who have spotted at least 9 enemy vehicles in one match
- Order of Courage - this medal is awarded to tank operators who have won in a match after remaining against 3–4 enemy vehicles
- Steel Wings - this medal is awarded to all tank operators in a team if they have won with no deaths
When a player receives a medal, all the battle participants will see this event in detailed results and a separate screen with the medal will open for the hero.
Each medal offers a Credit and Reputation bonus for that battle result:
- Rank 1 medals: 50% bonus to Credit and 25% bonus to Reputation
- Rank 2 medals: 150% bonus to Credit and 100% bonus to Reputation
- Rank 3 medal: 500% bonus to Credit and 500% bonus to Reputation
If more than one Special Medal is obtained in battle, the bonuses are added to each other. All medals are only awarded in standard PvP mode. In the future, we’ll be adding more medals to other ingame modes as well.
