One of the newest vehicles being introduced in Update 0.13 is the Type 69-II Tier 4 Main Battle Tank. The Type 69-II represents a modernized version of the Type 59 with several new Western technologies, including a 105mm rifled gun (heavily inspired by the Royal Ordnance L7).
While the initial version of the vehicle will be released in 0.13, the developers plan to increase its survivability by introducing an Explosive Reactive Armor kit as an upgrade. This armor appeared in real life on the Bangladeshi Type 69-IIG export variant as well as on the Chinese Type 79 (a modernized Type 69).
In Armored Warfare, this upgrade will provide the Type 69-II with a unique feature at Tier 4 – currently no other Tier 4 Main Battle Tank can use this special anti-HEAT package.
The ERA upgrade will appear after the vehicle introduction in Update 0.13.
