Object 430 ICE
The Object 430 was a T-64 predecessor and an attempt to build a worthy successor to the legendary T-54 Medium Tank for Soviet use. It has all the properties of a classic Soviet early MBT – sloped frontal armor, round cast turret, low silhouette and a powerful upgraded 100mm rifled gun. Several prototypes were built in the late 1950s but despite being an excellent MBT in its own right, the project was ultimately cancelled because it did not represent a significant enough upgrade over the T-54. In Armored Warfare, the Object 430 ICE is a Tier 4 Premium Main Battle Tank. It’s tough, hard-hitting and fairly mobile, making it very suitable for players interested in Soviet line MBT brawler gameplay.

OF-40 ICE
Following their positive experience with the German Leopard 1 Main Battle Tank, the Italians decided to produce such a tank on their own. The result was the OF-40, the first Italian production Main Battle Tank after the Second World War, resembling its German counterpart in more than one way. It was neither widely exported nor adopted by Italy itself, but several were sold to the United Arab Emirates. You can read about it in a dedicated article.
In Armored Warfare, the OF-40 ICE is a Tier 4 Premium Main Battle Tank. Gameplay-wise, it resembles the Leopard 1 series – it’s based on the idea that modern shells defeat any armor anyway so instead of trying to add weight to a vehicle that will get destroyed when hit, it’s better to have more mobility instead. In this sense, this vehicle is more like a Light Tank, but don’t let that fool you; it can still take some punishment while dishing its own out.

T-72AV ICE
The T-72AV is an upgraded version of the T-72A Main Battle Tank, which, along with its export siblings called T-72M and T-72M1, is one of the most common T-72 variants in the world. In 1985, the tank was equipped with Kontakt-1 Explosive Reactive Armor, providing protection against HEAT rounds and missiles of that time. You can read about it in a dedicated article.
In Armored Warfare, the T-72AV ICE is a Tier 5 Premium Main Battle Tank. Gameplay-wise, it’s a typical Soviet close range vehicle. It is mobile, can take a lot of damage and it has a powerful gun but it is not an accurate sniper, making it perform best at close ranges. The T-72AV ICE is suitable for players who prefer to have an advantage over their opponents in close quarters.

M60A3 ICE
The M60A3 is the last in a long line of the Patton tanks, reaching back to the M26 Pershing and the Second World War. Until the arrival of the Abrams, it was the workhorse of the U.S. Army tank units and a solid, all-round tank. The M60A3 has seen much combat, most notably in Operation Desert Storm. In Armored Warfare, the M60A3 ICE is a Tier 5 Premium Main Battle Tank. Unlike the other tanks of the ICE edition, it does not really have any specific strength or weakness – American tanks in general are good at practically everything and the M60A3 ICE is no exception, making it highly suitable for new players looking for a forgiving, easy to operate Premium Main Battle Tank.

Leopard 2AV ICE
The “Austere Version” Leopard 2 prototype was developed for comparative testing back when the Americans and the Germans still had the idea to have a unified Main Battle Tank, following the MBT-70/Kampfpanzer 70 flop. While the Leopard 2AV fared better in the testing, the American chose the Abrams as their future MBT, eventually leading to the German decision to go their own way. In Armored Warfare, the Leopard 2AV ICE is a Premium version of a Tier 6 Main Battle. Gameplay-wise, it’s more a sniper than anything else, much like the other Leopard series MBTs. Its powerful 105mm rifled gun makes short work of any enemy at distance and while the vehicle is not as good at sniping as dedicated Tank Destroyers, it offers solid levels of protection, making it less specialized than dedicated sniper vehicles.
