Commanders!
With the new Contract coming in the near future, we’d like to tell you more about the other prizes that await you in it.
Aside from the vehicle and the Loot Crates that usually come with a Contract, we will have a new camouflage for you for completing the usual number of Contract Missions along with several historical decals. These assets are all American-themed as well as cavalry-themed.
The camouflage obtainable in this contract is called U.S. Cavalry Camo. It was seen on an IPM1 Abrams belonging to the 1st Battalion of 12th Cavalry Regiment in Fort Knox in July 1986. There, the unit was responsible for training U.S. armor officers in tank warfare.

The decals are also inspired by historical designs. The Panther Head emblem was seen on an M1 Abrams belonging to Company B, 3rd Battalion of the 32nd Cavalry Regiment of the 1st Cavalry Division, stationed at the National Training Center, Fort Irwin, California in February 1987.

The Bandit emblem was seen on an M1 Abrams belonging to the 1st Battalion of the 64th Cavalry Regiment known as the "Bandits" in the late 1980s.

The Monster emblem was painted on an M1A1HC Abrams belonging to the 1st Squadron of the 1st Cavalry Regiment (known as the "Blackhawks") during an exercise in Hohenfels, West Germany, in 1994.

And last but not least, we have the Another Episode inscription as a decal. "Another Episode" was the name of an M1 Abrams commanded by Staff Sgt. Stevon A. Booker during the 2003 Iraq War. Stevon A. Booker was a veteran soldier who had previously seen combat during Operation Desert Storm and would return to the battlefield during the Iraq War, which, according to him, represented "another episode" of his life, hence the name he chose.

During a "Thunder Run" operation in Iraq, while under fire, Staff Sgt. Booker climbed on top of his tank to provide better direction to other tank crews. He was killed in the operation and was posthumously awarded with the Distinguished Service Cross medal.
We hope that you’ll enjoy the upcoming contract with all its prizes and, as always:
See you on the battlefield!
