Commanders!
Today, we are celebrating the International Women’s Day. While armored vehicles are typically associated with men, it’s a known fact that ladies can kick some armored ass too!
Armored Warfare features several unique commanders, each with a different back story and play style.
Sabrina Washington was born in San Diego, USA, as a daughter of an electronic specialist for the Pacific Fleet before its disbandment. She’s driven and goal oriented if somewhat inflexible. In Armored Warfare, she’s one of the entry commanders and, while relatively universal, she is suitable for scout and sniper vehicles.
Freja Højbjerg is, on the other hand, a rather advanced commander. Hailing from Denmark, she was originally a U.N. peacekeeper before realizing that the U.N. was an ineffective, defunct organization. In Armored Warfare, she’s an effective artillery commander, although her perk field can also be configured for long range sniping, especially effective with HE and HESH rounds.
Erin O’Connell is an advanced Premium commander. Born in Ireland, she first tried to join the Irish Naval Service to follow her father’s footsteps only to almost immediately discover her love armored vehicles. She’s devoted, loyal and keen-sighted, making her one of the best scout commanders in the game. She’s occasionally available in the Web Shop or during various events.
Kathryn Grey is an advanced reward commander that was available during the Storyline Campaign in 2017. She’s a wild, untamed and impulsive woman, although her time spent with Joshua Seagrove tempered her attitude a bit. Surviving the ill-fated Seahawk expedition to the United States of America, she currently resides incognito in Istanbul. She’s a capable close-range damage-oriented Main Battle Tank commander – the more her vehicle is damaged, the more damage she’s capable of dishing out.
