On August 15, 2025, the entire Poland celebrates the Armed Forces Day, commemorating the 105th anniversary of the 1920 Battle of Warsaw, where the Polish military defeated the Red Army invading forces. During the Polish-Soviet War, the communists ultimately wanted to capture the entirety of Poland but were instead soundly defeated by the forces of Marshal Józef Piłsudski in what is commonly referred to as the Miracle of the Vistula. The celebration of this great victory and the Polish Armed Forces was renewed in 1992 and is accompanied by military parades since 2007.
