Challenger 2 ATDU Adjustments
Following an evaluation, we have decided to reduce the power of the Challenger 2 ATDU’s HESH shells and to address the issue where PISH shells were dealing too much module damage:
- HESH shell damage reduced from 900 to 800, accuracy reduced from 0.148 to 0.17
- PISH shell damage reduced from 950 to 850 and lost its 25 percent damage bonus upon penetration
- PISH accuracy reduced from 0.148 to 0.18
However, to compensate these adjustments, the Challenger 2 ATDU now has a hydraulic suspension that can tilt the vehicle forward or backward or lower it to provide the following changes to statistics:
- Camouflage factor improved by 10 percent
- View range reduced by 15 meters
- Acceleration reduced by 20 percent
- Aiming speed improved by 20 percent
Depleted Uranium Shell Adjustments
We’ve recently added a new type of shell category to the game – APFSDS shells with depleted uranium penetrator with a bonus to the chance to set the enemy on fire. We are introducing the following adjustments:
- CHARM 1, CHARM 3, XM827, 3VBM14, M774, M833 and M900 shells now correctly have the depleted uranium core bonus
- The M829A1 and M919 shells now have an increased chance to set the enemy on fire
- Removed the depleted uranium bonus from the Challenger 2’s L28A1 as this shell does not have a depleted uranium penetrator
