The upcoming Episode 2 – “Monsters” of the Storyline Campaign continues the story of Task Force Seahawk and of their flight from Europe. In the past two weeks, you had the opportunity to unlock the vehicles required for one of the Episode’s objectives thanks to several rounds of the Seahawk Armory bonuses:

• M1128 Stryker Tier 8 TD
• M2A3 Bradley Tier 8 AFV

For commanders new and old, who missed the bonuses or who do want to participate but weren’t able to unlock either vehicle, we have prepared a set of special progression vehicle bundles that will allow them to catch up.

These vehicles do not have Premium status and players who already own them receive no substitute reward – if you already own one of these vehicles, please do not purchase it in a bundle.

After the remaining Leopard 2s had been left behind in Istanbul, the Abrams became the mainstay of the Seahawk tank force. Powerful and mobile, the M1A1 Abrams is still a force to be reckoned with even five decades after its introduction to service. Kathryn Grey is driving a heavily modified Abrams tank.

The M1128 Mobile Gun System, or “Stryker”, as it is commonly known, is a powerful fire support vehicle, based on the LAV III chassis. The Seahawks operate a number of these vehicles and use them for both offensive and defensive operations. Fast, agile and packing a powerful punch, the Stryker proves its superiority times and times again. The Stryker became Joshua Seagrove’s weapon of choice during the northern Sinai fighting.

Clayburn Industries acquired a large number of Bradley vehicles along with the Abrams MBTs. While powerful, the Bradley series was never really popular or widely exported due to its high purchase price, high maintenance costs and the strings attached to its procurement. With the world-wide political power of the United States severely diminished and the inadequately maintained vehicles located in Europe available virtually for scrap value, Clayburn Industries reluctantly decided to overhaul and actively use them as part of several elite formations. Some two dozen of these AFVs were attached to Task Force Seahawk at the time of the Intervention.

In the late 2010s, the ubiquitous T-72 series was a common sight on the battlefields of the Middle East. Supplied in large quantities during the Soviet era, hundreds of these vehicles were kept operational even in the 2030s. Cheap, easy to repair and mostly facing technicals only, the T-72s became the apex predators of the desert in the hand of ruthless and skilled mercenaries and local militias.

The VBL TOW is an ATGM-launcher variant of the French VBL light recon vehicle by Panhard. Over a thousand of these vehicles were built in the early 1990s for the French army and a large quantity has ever since found its way to Africa. By 2039, they are still a common sight in the desert, although the lack of spare parts has diminished their numbers over the years.

The M551 Sheridan was an American Light Tank that debuted during the Vietnam War era. While exceptionally well-armed for its weight category with a devastating 152mm gun-launcher, the vehicle suffered from poor protection and other safety issues. It survived in service until the 1990s because there was nothing better readily available to replace it. In the world of Armored Warfare, a number of Sheridans were left behind after Operation Desert Storm and a few still operational pieces found their way to the hands of local mercenaries.
