News from Development
The developers of Obsidian Entertainment communicate directly with the players on the Armored Warfare forums - but if you do not follow the forums directly, no worries. Here is a summary of what they posted:
- There will be an intermediate update between 0.12 and 0.13 that will bring the Visual Camouflage system, one new map and a number of fixes (including the rapid fire artillery issue)
- The Reactor map was removed from map pool temporarily after the introduction of Update 0.12 due to performance issues - the problem was already fixed internally and the map will return soon (once the changes are deployed)
- Overpenetration mechanism will return in the future
- There are plans to introduce more national flags in the future
Regarding PvE earnings:
PvE earnings is something that we've resumed working on now that we are back from the holiday break. While it is a bit too early to let you know the specifics, I can safely say we do have a gameplan for addressing this which has both a short-term (which helps address rewards for longer/harder PvE maps) and a more long-term solution. Over the next few weeks we'll be working with the teams involved in order to provide the community more details as they are ready to go out.
