Obsidian and publisher My.com are showing off Armored Warfare, the free to play tactical MMO that focuses on tank warfare. Although it still seems a little strange to see Obsidian take on a project like this given their past titles, each video they’ve released looks fantastic. Armored Warfare is being shown at E3, and a new video has been released showing off the role system and the types of tanks players will use in-game.
The last time I posted about this game was to show an engine video that focused on environmental destruction, and I questioned if the framerate would hold up when multiple tanks were added into the mix. Based on this video, it seems like the answer to that question is a definite yes and I can’t wait to see more. Registration for closed beta is open now and you can sign up here.
